All rent-a-car offices are located in Terminal 1 (Arrivals). There you can find several well known rent-a-car companies like AVIS, SIXT, Budget, Dollar Thrifty.

By taxi

If there is no bus, and you don't need a rent-a-car, you can take a taxi. The rate should be written on the door windows and should not be more than 1 BGN per km. Make sure that the taxi driver switches on the meter in his car, otherwise he might ask for any higher price and you won’t have any argument to refuse.

Usually all of the buses make a first stop at the Assumption Cathedral in Varna, which you cannot miss when entering Varna. However, if you're sleeping and miss that stop or just have to wait for someone at the bus station just follow these navigations:

If you want to reach the city center, you can walk - just walk along the large boulevard called Vladislav Varnenchick towards East, and in about 20 minutes you will see the Cathedral on you right site.

If you have a lot of luggage and prefer to take a bus - take number 18, 18A, 118, 121, 148 or 409 from Vladislav Varnenchik Blvd. or 118, 121 from Slivnica Blvd. Prices are 1 BGN and you will be in the city center in less than 10 minutes.

Once you exit the train station pass, the underpass and walk up the street “Tzar Simeon” for about 10 min and you will be at one of the main squares with fountains in the middle. Walk left around the fountains and in about 100 m you will see the Cathedral.
