How to get to Varna part 2

After Istanbul, it’s time to tell you how to get to Varna from Bucharest. You have three options:

By bus

There is a bus from Bucharest to Varna every Monday and Friday at 10:30 am. The bus comes from Prague, pass through Russe, Razgrad, Shumen and its final stop is Varna at 16 am. You can take the bus from Bucharest at South bus station. The name of the company is ‘Orlan’. Ticket prices – 25 euro one-way and 35 euro two-way ticket. Another option to travel to Varna is to take a bus from Bucharest to Russe and from Russe to take another bus to Varna. You can get tickets to Russe from the company ‘Ovanesovi’. There are busses every Monday at 20:20 as well as every Tuesday at 10:00.

There buses from Russe to Varna are every day but have in mind that the last one is at 18:00.

By train

You can take train from Bucharest to Varna every day.

The first option is the train that arrives in Bucharest at 01:47 from Minsk or Saratov. The other option is the train from Moscow that arrives in Bucharest at 23:12.

In both cases you will have to change trains at Russe to get to Varna, but you will not be supposed to pay anything because it is included in the ticket you already bought in Romania.

By plain:

If you choose to travel by plane you will have to change at Sofia. There are daily flights Bucharest-Sofia and here you can find information about Sofia-Varna flights: http://www.varna-airport.bg/Flight/tabid/185/language/bg-BG/Default.aspx
